Home » SEO: 101 – It’s WAY WAY easier than most people realize

I’m going to show you how a few minutes spent optimizing your content for SEO can make a big impact towards a page one ranking in Google.

You spend a lot of time and money producing high-quality valuable content…

You want that content to be seen by as many people as possible, right?

Because the more people who see your content, the more people see your affiliate link.

Well, using good ‘on-page SEO’ tells Google everything they need to know in order to show your content to a searcher.

Introducing Woorank SEO Checker

Okay, first you’ll want to grab a freemium Chrome extension called WooRank, which will grade your website and content and then tell you how to improve it.

When you have the WooRank extension installed go to your website, press the extension button and then sit back as your WooRank performs an SEO analysis.

You’re going to get a lot of actionable information from WooRank.

The first thing WooRank does is give your website and SEO score out of 100. For fun, I ran WooRank on Pinterest.

WooRank gives you lots of actionable information using the freemium version and shows you where you can improve SEO on your site

The next easy fix you can do is add “Alt attributes” to your images…

(Well, if you want your images to show up on page one of Google image search that is.)

Alt attributes are also known as Alt Tags, and here is how you add them to images on your site:

WooRank also shows you a list all your pages indexed by Google.

If you want to do a quick check right now of all your indexed pages on Google then try this search string:

site:https://NAMEOFYOURWEBSITE.COM/

If you get any red crosses in the report, then know this…

They are easy fixes.

Certainly, someone on Upwork or Fiverr could fix them for you at a low cost.

If you want to start fixing your own on-page SEO then check out the resources section at the bottom of the email.

It’s surprising how much better your site will rank if you follow the basics of on-page SEO.

There is always more you can do for on-page SEO, and an absolute must is the free Yoast SEO plugin.

When you’re ready, grab a drink, kick back and read this introduction to Yoast. It’s worth it.

So, what about off-page SEO?

Off-page SEO is as simple as this…

Create valuable content that other people want to link to…

If and when other people link to your content, you get what is called a backlink.

The more powerful the backlinks you get (that means trusted websites linking to your site)…

The more powerful your site becomes and the higher it ranks.

When I say a trusted site I’m talking about a website that has a high TF & CF which means Trust Flow & Citation Flow, which you can check over at Majestic.com

What about backlinks?

Backlinks are more time-consuming than complex.

You want to actively use your time to find other websites that might benefit from your content and connect with them, and ask them to link to your content.

There is always a quicker way though… Like using an outreach service with a company called Ninja Outreach.

Ninja Outreach makes it easy for you to keep track of all the different people and websites you’re connecting with and trying to get a backlink from.

You can automate loads of task on Ninja Outreach and free up more time for yourself.

If it gets too much, then pay Ninja Outreach to do the work for you.
